Juanan Soria (1985) is an emerging artist from Spain who lives in Belgium. He shows his latest project in a solo exhibition at the Cecilia Jaime Gallery. Soria's work investigates the trajectories of memory and oblivion through the life of the works of art. A dialogue arises between these two opposites, in search of similarities that the viewer can link and merge. The exhibition consists of an impressive installation of 400 paintings that generates a video animation and a selection of works on paper.
