Mario De Brabandere @ CHARIVARI

From 16 September to 16 December 2018, an exhibition entitled CHARIVARI will take place in the Church of our Lady of Pamele in Oudenaarde, Belgium. The work of 29 contemporary artists is brought together here in a reflection and response to the Adriaen Brouwer exhibition in the MOU. In a (self-)critical, humorous or moving and always authentic way, the artists share their highly individual view of the world, as Brouwer did in his time.

More details about the exhibition can be found on our website: www.charivari.show

CHARIVARI will be festively kicked off on Saturday 15 September at 3 pm with an opening reception at Pamelekerkplein, next to the church, on the banks of the Scheldt. The exhibition is officially opened after Brouwer 'himself' makes his grand entry into the city.
