Fabrice Chan-Chiang, 'CloseUp'

CloseUp is the debut feature film of Fabrice Chan-Chiang. This Low budget film was made with only 400€ and a team of 29 unpaid cast and crew members.
For the Cast, Fabrice found his actors sometimes weeks before shooting, sometimes the day before. So casting agencies were out of the picture.
As for the crew, these were all personal friends of Fabrice, who gave lots or almost all of there free time and creativity, to put in to this project.

CloseUp was shot with only 1 mini DV cam. The travel, steady cam, and other attributes where made by some of the crewmembers, so the costs could be reduced.

CloseUp also has it's own soundtrack. Each song was written for its own particular scene.
With a preperation of 1.5 years, a shooting period of 4 months and 3 months of editing, the film is now ready.
